I Thought All Of Those People Had Pelotons, Anyway
-
We can't have nice things, so California, which encouraged people to go out and exercise with walks, hikes, and runs outdoors during the stay-at-home phase, is now shutting down trails and parks, including Hollywood's fabled Runyon Canyon. Why? Overcrowding. People just won't maintain social distancing. I noticed this on my runs over the weekend; running clubs and families hogged the trails around here, and I ended up running in the middle of a major road just to stay six feet away from them. And now the local parks and trails are mostly closed. Ugh. (KNBC-TV/Los Angeles)
