Nice Of You To Give Billionaires Another Interest-Free Loan
-
When they went on sale, you rushed to buy tickets for, well, any sporting event or concert. Then came coronavirus and cancellation. Wait, not cancellation, but "postponement." And that's the loophole the teams and venues and promoters are using to avoid having to give you a refund. Is that fair? Because if you bought a ticket because you knew you could get to the game on April 7th but you won't be able to go if it's rescheduled for, say, November 5th, you really shouldn't lose your money or have to StubHub the tickets, possibly at a loss. But the teams and owners didn't get rich by doing the right thing all the time. (USA Today)
