The Honor System May Have Met Its Match
-
With colleges considering not bothering with the SAT or ACT this year, the people who run those tests need to protect their businesses, so we now have the SAT administrators talking about letting kids take the SAT at home, online, with "remote proctoring," meaning that they'll be watching your kid by webcam and microphone. That seems creepy. I'd just say the hell with it and skip the testing altogether, but if they're going to Big Brother it, are you comfortable letting that determine if your kid gets into the college of their choice?
