'Stay At Home' Assumes You Know Which Home To Stay At
-
Pandemic puzzler: What if you have a place in Baja California? A LOT of Americans are south of the border in homes along the Pacific Ocean in towns like Rosarito and Ensenada, just a reasonably short drive from the U.S. border, and the State Department has that advisory telling Americans to return to the U.S. if possible. But 1.5 million Americans live in Mexico, tens of thousands in those beach towns near San Diego, and some of them say that they'll stay put and if they get the virus, drive to San Diego for treatment. But who knows if they'll be able to get across, and Baja hospitals are overwhelmed as it is. Would you stay in place or head back to America? (San Diego Union-Tribune)
