We'll Never Have Complete Control Of Our Croutons Again
-
Souplantation (known as Sweet Tomatoes in some states) is apparently not going to reopen once the pandemic's over, and you might be confused by the outpouring of grief coming from Californians about this, but everyone here loved the place and had stories about eating there. The topic, though, is whether the pandemic has killed buffets and salad bars, and it looks like it has. Are you gonna miss that? Could they return if someone on staff served you the food rather than you wielding the tongs? (Los Angeles Times)
