Death, Taxes, And Standstills On The 405
-
Los Angeles traffic had gotten so sparse during the pandemic that freeway speeds were consistently topping 70 mph, something anyone who's ever been on our roads would find pretty amazing. Also amazing is that with most things still closed, traffic is picking back up, with the 405 now experiencing something close to the usual wall-to-wall, jammed traffic at times. I know we're partially and slowly "reopening," but where is everyone going? (Los Angeles Times)
