Massachusetts is banning menthol, mint, and wintergreen cigarettes and tobacco products as of June 1st. A trade group representing convenience store owners is warning that people will merely drive across the border to New Hampshire, where they're not banned. Which could be true for any ban in one state that isn't the case elsewhere, and by this I am not at all referring to my college years when Pennsylvania's drinking age was 21 and New Jersey's was 18 and in no way do I recall driving with friends to go across the Ben Franklin Bridge to liquor stores along Admiral Wilson Blvd. in Camden, one of which was actually called "The Booze Shop," and... wait, what were we talking about again?
