Maybe He Thought They're Still Producing That 'Lockdown' Show
-
A guy in Atlanta who was on VH1's "Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta" got a PPP loan to pay the payroll for his trucking company. He's been arrested and accused of using the $3,735,500 to buy himself a Rolex, a diamond bracelet, and a Rolls-Royce, among other goodies, and pay his child support. He denies it, of course. The thing is, if he did it, this would be fraud, sure, and should be punished. But the huge corporations that are taking the loan money using the "individual locations" loophole are bad, too, as are the ones that are using that money -- our money -- when their CEOs are making millions and they've been sending every dollar of profit into executives' and shareholders' pockets instead of reinvesting in the business and paying people what they're really worth. Anyway, everyone's bad and we're screwed. (WSB-TV/Atlanta)
