Working from home is good, unless your employer decides that it's a good idea to use employee-monitoring software that can tell them when you're checking email or stepping away from your desk or doing anything. In extreme cases, employers can use tracking software to watch you on your webcam. That would be creepy to the extreme. Really, if you want to avoid that, you have to use your own computer and never install any software your employer insists you install. Easier said than done, I know, but privacy is important, even when you're working. (CTV)
