There's Always The Walmart Parking Lot
-
I've thought long and hard about post-pandemic travel, and in that context I've considered the option of buying a small RV and driving to events across the country, avoiding planes and hotels. And that's a great idea except for one small complicating factor: there's no place on the road to park your RV right now, with RV parks and campgrounds largely shut down due to the pandemic and no changes seem for a while. You could end up driving far, far from home and have no place to connect to power, water, and sewage lines, as many retirees are discovering; more are just parking their RVs in their driveways and waiting this out. So I guess it's not really a great option for me, either. (Washington Post)
