It's "Alien," but for real: A new report from Australia says that snake eels, who live buried under the ocean floor, tend to get eaten alive by predators, and when they do, they use their tail tip to try and burst out of the fishes' stomachs the way the alien burst out of John Hurt in the first "Alien" movie. Unlike the alien, though. the snake eels usually fail in their mission and end up dying in the fish stomach. Nature is weird. (The Guardian)
