It began when TV networks sped and then squeezed them at the end of movies. Then some channels began to run them while another show started up. Now, Netflix basically skips the end credits of everything. Does that bother you or do you prefer to skip those anyway? I can understand it if the credits are endless like at the end of a superhero movie -- though you have to wait in case there's an additional scene at the end -- but in a theater around here when you don't know if someone in the audience might be listed in them, it's considered rude to walk out early. But on TV? Do you need to see the entire list of credits? (The Guardian)
