The Butler Didn't Do It

This column in The Guardian purports to have the answer to the eternal question of how long to wait before you talk about a spoiler for a movie or TV show. The writer says the correct timing is after between three to five days. I don't think that's long enough, and spoilers tend not to bother me, but I get why some people hate them. You can't assume everyone can get to the theater on a movie's first weekend (once, that is, we're back at movie theaters), or could binge a Netflix show the weekend it was released. But how long should you give it? (The Guardian)
