Unless You Used To Work In A Library Or Morgue, It Shouldn't Be THAT Much Different
-
Working from home means dealing with noise -- kids, dogs, all kinds of noise. How do you deal with that? One suggestion: Use a closet as an office. I'm sure everyone has huge walk-in closets with A/C and heating ducts and power outlets, right? No? Okay, then you can put sound panels on your wall and ceiling like a studio, or get a felt-wrapped partition to wrap around your desk. Or you can just give up. (New York Times)
