The other day, it was about snakes falling through a guy's ceiling. Today, it's an article in no less than the New York Times with tips on what to do when a bat flies into your home. Oh, sure, laugh, but what DO you do? The suggestions: dim the lights and open all the doors and windows in hopes it'll leave, or try to catch it in a box or net (they can't take off from the floor, it turns out!). Don't eat one, though (sorry, Ozzy). And while rabies from bats is rare, you don't want to get bitten, either (sorry, Drac.) (New York Times)
