It was a fad for a while and it's still around, people using fitness balls as work chairs. You remember that, right? People teetering on big colorful rubber "stability balls," which were supposed to be better for your posture and offering a little exercise during work while you tried to keep from falling off. Yeah, that. Well, there's been a surge in sales of those things during the pandemic, and now here comes science to tell us that it's not beneficial and could even be detrimental because of the discomfort and possible damage to your spine.
