I Wouldn't Trust The Rest Rooms, Either
-
Let's update something we heard about at the beginning of the pandemic: The CBC sent its investigative team out to supermarkets and found that the germiest surface in the stores was... you're going to say the cart handles, right? Because that's what we've heard before, and that's what you scrub down. But no, it's the register PIN pad. Not wiped down, and gross. (Aside to the Kroger Corp.: Please enable Apple Pay and other contactless payment. Please. It's time.) Hand-held basket handles are second, and the front of the shopping cart, the freezer doors, and baby seats are next. Interestingly, the CLEANEST was the shopping cart handle. Now you know. (CBC)
