One Reason Why People With Cars Move To The Suburbs
-
If you live in a big city, it's an annual topic: If you shovel out a parking spot on the street, do you get savesies? In some places, like Boston or Philly, the tradition of saving your shoveled-out spot with a folding chair or traffic cone when your car's not in it is honored by long-time residents but not always newcomers, which can get you into real trouble, People have been murdered over this issue, no lie. But some people think that you shouldn't be able to save a public parking space whether or not you busted your butt shoveling it clean. It's a moral question. Where do you stand? (In the middle of the spot?) (Philadelphia Magazine)
