Actually, Soccer Seems To Be A Better Option Regardless Of Gender

Where does football go now that fears of injury and CTE have scared a lot of kids out of playing? Girls. Specifically, the NFL and Nike are handing out $5 million of gear to promote flag football -- not tackle -- for young women. It's a matter of survival for the NFL: If interest is waning among men, they have to get women interested. Will this generate more interest? Is it condescending to think that women have to play to be interested in watching? It's not like only men who played the game can be fans. (Wall Street Journal)
