You Can Get An Hour Out Of 'Crunchy Or Smooth?'
-
This BBC article starts with the provocative question/headline "Are Nut Butters Bad For Your Health?," insinuating that peanut butter is bad for you. The answer: Not really. Nut butters are not quite as good for you as regular nuts; the processing loses some nutrients. But as long as you don't eat the junky, sugar-and-palm-oil commercial peanut butter, it's fine for you. And here's my real answer: Throw some plain, unsalted, roasted peanuts in the food processor with a dash of peanut oil, process until smooth, voila: Great, cheap, healthy peanut butter. You're welcome. (BBC)
