Jennette McCurdy was a Nickelodeon child star on "iCarly" and "Sam and Cat," and now she hosts a podcast, but she says she quietly quit acting a few years ago and, while she's moved into writing and directing, she isn't crazy about show business at all and went into it because her late mother put her in it. The topic isn't about child stars, though. It's about waking up one day and realizing that you hate your job, you hate your career, and you want to do something different.
