We're all using delivery services, but restaurants are frustrated that Postmates, DoorDash, etc. all charge hefty fees. The restaurants lose something like 18-20% right off the top. You pay delivery fees, other unspecified fees, a tip, and a markup on the entire menu. This adds up, and the restaurants are especially upset that their profits get eaten up by the fees; it's not like they can just drop those services, either, because the public wants them. So, call restaurants directly for pickup and dump the middleman. (Los Angeles Times)
