Not Enough Restrooms, Not Enough Trees
-
Columnist Nick Kristof hit upon a topic we've discussed a lot here, so let's amplify it again: There are too few public restrooms. Period. It's weird: Having to go pee while away from home is as universal an experience as we can have, yet our society has steadfastly refused to address it. Maybe it's because bodily functions are taboo. If a political candidate ran on a platform of building more safe, clean, plentiful public facilities, they'd win. (New York Times)
