Toys R Us might be The Brand That Wouldn't Die: After the chain went under and all stores were closed but the website persisted, another company bought the name and opened a pair of prototype mall stores, but shut them down recently, blaming the pandemic. Now, yet another one of those companies that buys up dead brands has bought the name with plans to resurrect the chain in some way. How many times can they do this? Is Toys R Us still a brand worth reviving or is it too late and too brick-and-mortar? What other brands could make a comeback? (CNN)
