Keep Those Cassettes, 8-Tracks, Reel-To-Reels, And DATs Too

Herewith, a columnist's consideration of a dilemma many of you have confronted: Do you get rid of your CDs? Do you rip 'em all into MP3s and sell or donate or trash the physical copies? Do you hold them in hopes CDs will revive like vinyl? Do you pitch 'em because Spotify has most of it? Do you keep them because physical copies are real and you own them but you don't really own digital files or streaming? Aah, keep 'em. You'll miss them when they're not taking up way too much space on your shelves. Just like vinyl. (The Guardian)
