Truth Be Told, I Never Had That Much Of An Emotional Attachment To My Food Containers

One by one, cities and counties have done what Ventura County just did, banning styrofoam containers and cups. So we have bans on plastic bags, styrofoam, plastic straws... do you think this makes a difference? Moreover, do you miss any of it? Because when they banned plastic bags (at least, free ones) here, the initial reaction was negative. Now, I gotta admit, I don't even think about it. I bring bags or pay the dime if I forget. Takeout food doesn't come in styrofoam and I don't think about it -- I don't even know if L.A. County has banned it, it just isn't used and I don't miss it. Maybe it's not a bad thing after all.
