I Prefer My Food Not To Be Alive And Moving, Actually

From CNN's Stanley Tucci tour of Italy comes this story about "the world's most dangerous cheese," casu marzu, a Sicilian cheese that is made by, and includes, live maggots. This is not a joke. Flies lay eggs in cracks in cheese; the maggots hatch, eat and digest the proteins, and regurgitate a creamy cheese that you eat while the maggots writhe in it. What's the grossest thing you've ever eaten? (CNN)
