What Stage Is Plaid?
-
It would have been nice had the federal government set up the rules for everyone instead of ignoring the problem and leaving each state to do its own thing, but it's too late now, and so, among the other problems of the pandemic, every state has its own color-coding for COVID-19 stages. And so, if you're in a blue stage in Utah, it's a disaster, but blue means safe in other states. California's worst stage is purple; many areas use red for that. Green's usually good, but it wasn't as good as turquoise in New Mexico. Some states have none of that. All they had to do was set up one set of guidelines, but they didn't do that. And here we are.
