Offer Them A Cookie If They'll Just Play Along

So, how DO you talk to someone among your friends and family who's either hesitant or against taking the vaccine? This article has all the usual suggestions -- don't be too judgmental/accusatory, don't expect to win the argument, acknowledge concerns, be ready to back off -- but I'd also try asking this: Why, if it's so bad, do you see nobody regret having gotten the shot? I mean, people who have had the worst post-shot reactions STILL tell you they'd do it all over again, without hesitation. And it's free, quick, and, once you get an appointment (which are now fairly plentiful in most states), easy. How do you argue with that? (Washington Post)
