Only A Quarter? I'd Have Expected All Of Them

The theory that remote learning leads to remote cheating seems purely anecdotal, and maybe it is, but one N.C. State statistics professor did a little probing: He sent unique sets of questions to each class member, so it was easy to figure out who posted the questions on a for-profit homework cheat site. He caught 1/4 of the class cheating. How tempting must it be to cheat on exams when there's nobody looking? Can we trust anyone anymore? Could we ever? (Wall Street Journal)
