It's that time of, um, decade, I guess, because several corpse flowers are blooming, and they only bloom once every seven to ten years. This one's at Temple University's suburban Ambler campus and if you're unfamiliar with these things, they stink. Really stink. Like decomposing bodies, hence the name "corpse flower." People queue up to experience this. I don't know why you'd subject yourself to it, but there it is. Gingko trees, which were abundant near my college campus, were more than smelly enough for me.
