A Blank Slate Might Be Better
-
Drew Magary's latest column for SFGate.com is his plea for post-pandemic life not to go back to "normal," or at least not entirely the way it was before a year ago March. His point is that this is a time when we can improve what was broken, from wages to working conditions to politics and everything else, a chance for a fresh start and a rejection of the bad old days, especially in how workers have been exploited over the years. He fears we're screwing it up and just returning to habits like commuting and being underpaid and, well, what SHOULD the post-pandemic world be like? What should we try to fix? (SFGate.com)
