Bet He Misses When The NBA Playoffs Were On Tape Delay, Too
-
This article pines for the days when you had to work hard to find out the score of a ballgame. There weren't apps, or ESPN, or sports radio formats. You had to wait for the morning paper, or call SportsPhone (remember THAT?), or listen to the radio until someone gave a score. The writer misses that, saying that we lost something when it no longer took effort to find out who won and who lost. I'd rather just be able to look at my phone and have the scores right there, immediately. The games are suspenseful enough. (Wall Street Journal)
