Can we say nice things about people these days? How about when it's about one of the fan "hives" on social media, the massive groups who constantly post about their heroes and hit back at people who say nasty things about them? Because, as this writer found out, the BTS Army turns out to be a positive force, a little unlike some other fan armies in that they use their collective might for good, from providing each other family-style support to battling QAnon and racist groups. There's always gonna be a little strangeness in too-fervent fandom, and you do not want to be on the other end of it when they find out you slagged off the band in any way, but, really, if you find out your kid is in the BTS Army, it's nice that the group is, well, nice.
