There's been incredible growth in the past year in paid subscriptions of all kinds, from the obvious (Netflix) to the not-so-obvious (restaurants, meal delivery, hotels, Peloton). Services are increasingly offering subscriptions, and people are signing up. The question is whether it's too much, and you can check that by counting how many subscriptions and regular debit payments you're in for. TV alone can run into big money. Where's the limit? When do you look at what you're spending on subscriptions and think, you know, I never really watch that streaming service I'm paying $15/month for? (Washington Post)
