What Happens In Vegas Has A Hard Time Getting Out Of Vegas
-
You want a Flight From Hell (or To Hell, depending on your perspective)? This Allegiant Airlines flight was supposed to take about an hour and 15 minutes to get from Las Vegas to Stockton, CA. It took 17 hours. First, the flight got to Stockton and the control tower was closed. Closed? Then it turned back but Vegas had thunderstorms and they couldn't land and they were running low on fuel. Next stop: LAX, where 175 people got off and penned into a holding room with no bathroom. Finally, the flight was rescheduled for the next day and the passengers were told to go find their own hotel rooms and transportation. I bet you have some listeners who have endured that kind of nightmare. Ask them about it. (Oh, yeah, it's a 5-1/2 hour drive from LAX to Stockton, but just try and find a reasonably priced car rental these days.) (KOVR-TV/Sacramento)
