Make It 85 And We'd All Probably Be Better Off
-
A bar in Nantucket has raised its drinking age to 25, because the owner got tired of all the underage drinkers claiming to be 21. An informal online poll of Boston.com readers showed that 74% of respondents were in favor of the higher drinking age, but you can assume most of them were over 25 anyway. Do you think a higher drinking age would work? Wouldn't the underaged drinkers just get fake IDs with an earlier fake birthdate? Can you really stop underage drinking?
