Your Survival Is Their Tough Luck
-
The cost to insurers for cancer treatment has almost doubled over the past two decades. The culprit? Not drugs. No, it's that more people are diagnosed and more people are surviving, meaning longer treatment. Also, everything else costs a lot more. But the bottom line is that it would be cheaper and more cost-effective for insurers if you'd have the common decency to just die fast so they can get you off their rolls.
