Can't expect you to shed tears over the plight of actors, but they're really getting screwed by their own unions and fellow actors, whose inability to agree to merge SAG and AFTRA mean that a lot of members are losing health benefits. See, it's all based on how much you work. And if you work a lot in both TV and movies, you're splitting the credit between the two unions, which means that neither gets you enough credit for benefits. You'd think they could fix it, but the hardliners in each union don't seem to care about the members, only their own power.
