More Reason Not To Get Sick

Radiation treatment is bad enough -- it's worse for some people than chemo. But at Cedars-Sinai in L.A., it was even worse: Someone made a mistake in resetting a CT scanner, and every single person who was sent to the machine for a brain scan got an overdose of radiation. These weren't even people there to get radiation treatment. And it got caught after a patient reported that his hair began to fall out after getting a scan. You have to trust the doctors and technicians at the hospital to know what they're doing. But they don't always get it right.
