Although, If I COULD Retire At 50, I Would
-
One of the problems that led Greece to its present predicament is that the culture encourages early retirement. You retire at 50, meaning that, as people live longer and longer, you have a larger percentage of the population being totally unproductive. Add pension funding and you have a very precarious position, one which also breeds resentment among other European Union members. Can you blame Germany, where they have a very different idea of work, for being disdainful of the Greek attitude?
