It's Like A Doc-In-The-Box, Only 1,000 Percent More Expensive

A study counters the general perception that emergency rooms are filled with uninsured people using them for general non-emergency care: They say that the uninsured don't go to the ER any more than insured people do. Maybe so, but that still has a LOT of uninsured people there. But it's also that a lot of people are now trained, by alarmism in the media, to panic over minor health conditions; a sniffle sends people into a tizzy and a minor ache becomes a 911 call.
