Integrity: For Sale By Owner. No Reasonable Offer Refused
-
Dale Jackson of WVNN/Huntsville did some checking into Minutemen founder Jim Gilchrist and says that he found Gilchrist seems to only endorse candidates who have deals with his campaign manager's consulting firm. Jackson says that it shows Gilchrist's endorsement is for sale; I don't know whether it is or not, or whether, even so, it's unusual or just business as usual, but you can read through the evidence and decide for yourself. And it does raise the issue of how business is done in electoral politics, especially in light of the controversy surrounding Joe Sestak's claims that the White House tried to buy him out of the Senate race with a job offer. Don't all politics seem just too sleazy for words these days?
