Meet Indonesian toddler Ardi Rizal, who allegedly throws tantrums if his parents don't let him indulge his 40 cigarettes a day habit. I say "allegedly" because it's in The Sun and it's an overseas story, so accuracy may not be paramount. But in the story, it's explained that dad let the kid try a smoke, and the addiction resulted; it reminds me of how parents will sometimes let a kid sip from a glass of wine, to watch the kid recoil and swear it off forever. Or how parents use booze on the lips to calm a baby down. Is that child abuse or harmless? If it ends up with a baby smoking, probably the former.
