Not content with their attempts to enforce self-esteem and "non-violent" play, educators are now battling against the concept of a child having a best friend. This is not a joke. They think that having "BFFs" creates cliques and favorites, which they think is bad. But... isn't it human nature to find someone with whom you have things in common and spend more time with them than others? (New York Times)
