When It Absolutely, Positively Has To Be There In 95 Years
-
Here's one of those "postcard delivered years later" with a twist. An antique collector from California was visiting Sarajevo and met a guy and thought, geez, your last name sounds familiar. So the next day, he showed that guy a vintage 95-year-old postcard he'd bought at a flea market in Long Beach recently for $50. And, yes, that postcard showed the other guy's grandfather, 95 years ago, during World War I. The grandfather died in 1941, years before the birth of the grandson. The card's been reunited with the family, and, naturally, grandfather and grandson look eerily alike. (AP via Seattle Times)
