Will Someone Just Help These People Already?

In case you need a cause to support, here's the case of a couple of women in Texas who face deportation despite... well, here's the deal, in as short a hand as I can muster. They came here from Yugoslavia with their parents on a legal work visa 25 years ago, when Yugoslavia was a communist country. Their parents divorced, and that's when the government put the mother and sisters in deportation status. The mother remarried and easily got a green card. The sisters married and... the government seems to have decided that they should go back. But to where? Their country has since dissolved, separated, sort-of reformed... but the U.S. wants to send them to Serbia. And they're awaiting their deportation orders. Meanwhile, the feds are taking a hands-off attitude towards illegal immigrants. Remember, they were LEGAL immigrants and did NOTHING wrong. How is this being allowed to happen in America? Why can't an elected official get this taken care of so two families -- this includes American husbands and children -- aren't forced to move to a country they don't know because bureaucrats can't use common sense?
