Leave The Kids Out Of It
-
This is supposed to be a heartwarming story about kids selling lemonade to raise money for their schools, but it leaves me cold. Here's the thing: it's to raise money to pay teachers and save some jobs. The kids are parroting the usual union tropes about class size. I get that uneasy feeling that the kids are being used by the teachers for their own benefit. Because they are. (Los Angeles Times)
