A Million Bucks? I Hope They Washed It First
-
The iconic jersey worn by Paul Henderson when he scored the winning goal for Team Canada in the 1972 Summit Series against the Soviets has been sold at auction. The price: a cool $1 million. Someone has a million to spend on a jersey? Yup. And the buyer is doing it to return the jersey from the U.S. to Canada, where it belongs. The money's going to cancer research, so that's nice, but, still, could you even get a million for a Michael Jordan jersey? (Toronto Star)
