A Christian group lost its recognition and funding from the University of California's Hastings Law School. It sued. The Supreme Court ruled that the school can refuse to recognize a group that might be violating anti-discrimination laws. Is this a freedom of expression case? A freedom of religion case? Whose freedoms? Does a school have to permit anyone who creates a group and wants funding to participate in campus life, even if they espouse what many might find abhorrent views?
